Ukrainian journalist and serial celebrity pest Vitalii Sediuk brought the drama to the Eurovision song contest this year.

Draped in an Australian flag, the controversial figure stormed the stage – during the performance of Jamala, who won Eurovision last year – and proceeded to drop his pants, baring his bum to the millions of viewers watching.

It was an embarrassing moment for Australia, who have been invited to perform at the competition for the past three years  were represented by 17-year-old X Factor Australia winner Isaiah Firebrace this year.

The ambassador to Ukraine – where the competition was held this year ‘ Bruce Edwards tweeted a ‘timely reminder for any Australians in Kiev for Eurovision. See latest Smart Traveller … especially Crime and Laws.’

 Vitalii’s most recent exploits include grabbing Gigi Hadid in Milan and attempting to kiss Kim Kardashian’s bum.

Thankfully security quickly removed the ‘comedian’ from the stage and the competition continued without further drama and resulted in Portugal’s Salvador Sobral placing first in the competition.
