Speaking to WHO exclusively, The Bachelor Australia evictee Elora Merger revealed the truth about her issues with Laura, her emotional vowels for Matty J and her biggest regret on the show.

Last night was a bit of an emotional episode.

“Oh gosh I felt it, I felt it. Right through my heart.”

The vowels were lovely, but the girls didn’t resonate with them. What did you think watching their reactions back?

“Yeah, and the girls that were watching me as well. You know Flo texted me and said, ‘You know, we all thought it was absolutely beautiful what you wrote and we had nothing bad to say about it’. So she was a bit surprised about how it was portrayed but I wrote it with my heart you know.

I also remember walking out and the girls had so many compliments about it.

Laura is a frontrunner, what do you think about her?

I’ve loved Laura from day one. I’ve always admired her, how confident she is and how she’s very well spoken, ambitious – she’s just a kickass lady, she really is.

There were reports that you didn’t think she was as amazing as she makes out to be, is that correct?

I completely disagree with that. She and I have been talking all morning.

Because three weeks ago an article came out about me and her fighting and she texted it to me and was like, ‘Are we fighting? I don’t know.’

I’ve always loved Laura and I never felt she had any bad intentions or anything. I think what they misunderstood was when they asked me how Elise and Laura were getting along and I said that sometimes Elise hid a little bit under Laura because Laura would cut her off. It’s just because she’s confident and confident women can be intimidating.

Do you have any regrets on the show?

Yeah. Not opening myself up – in a way I was very guarded. You know everything that you say can be held against you. I wish I had been friendly with more than just Simone. But it’s all happening now that we’re not all dating the same guy! I’m super close to Laura, Florence and Cobie.

There were reports you burnt the rose and the gifts you took home?

No, that didn’t happen. I still have all the pictures and the date cards. There were good memories.

Did you really Snapchat a message saying “F*** you Matty J?”

I honestly don’t remember that Snapchat at all. But I would also Snapchat a bus with Matty J on it and say “Thanks babe! For picking me up.” I never had any animosity with Matty. I was upset because I was heartbroken but I never hated anyone.

Did you train any if the girls when you were in there?

Yes! Simone and I would train every day and then she would cook.

Is there anything you wish was shown more on screen?

We had a lot more than silences. We had long conversations; I wish they showed a little bit more of my personality. And I wish they didn’t make it seem like there was any malice because I’m really not mean. And that rose-ceremony kiss scene, and I don’t want anyone to think I was mean.

The ranking game was fun to watch.

Oh, my God, it was so bad for me. I spoke to my mum and she was like, “I love it, you’re strong and you know who you are – you stuck to your bullets.”
