Last night, the drama hit new levels on The Bachelor when Cobie who had already received a Rose on her single date, pulled Matty aside to chat one-on-one during the pre-rose ceremony celebrations.

Fellow Bachelorettes Jennifer and Leah caused a commotion and labelled Cobie a “hustler.” Particularly because they’d known she’d kissed Matty beforehand.

Latest evictee, Belinda, revealed: “When the girls pounced. You didn’t see it but I diffused the situation. I stood up and said ‘c’mon ladies, I’ve got something to say’.”

“They all went ‘Belinda love says be kind and be nice’ and they were just mocking me. So I was just like oh bugger your guys! That actually diffused the whole thing because when I said back off you guys they all got surprised and laughed and it cut everything off.”

While the 35-year-old Love Coach admitted she understood why the girls were upset, but she maintains she thinks “it was fair for Cobie to do that because it’s all fair in the mansion. If you want to make an impression you have to make the effort.”

“I can see from both perspectives but I don’t agree with out they acted, it’s not ladylike.”

While Belinda says she thinks of Matty of a friend nowadays, when she didn’t receive a rose she was heartbroken.

“It was quite devastating, I got some time with Matty but I feel like I didn’t get enough time I think for him to really make that decision. I felt like it was potentially cut short at the time.”

And she even thinks The Bachelor may have done her a service by not allowing her to stay in the competition for another week.

“I actually feel he did me a favour. I think potentially he knew there was a lot of drama and he knew I wasn’t bringing it to the table. Perhaps he didn’t see compatibility so he’s gone ‘alright, you can go!’”

In regards to a widely reported “mean girls” culture within the Bachelor mansion, Belinda reveals “Yeah it definitely felt like it.”

“And I hid away from most of it I would go and sort of read a book or listen to music, write in my journal and go to the gym and then mingle with them and watch movies and stuff. But I like to avoid it.”

Despite the intense antics, Belinda says her experience was “overwhelming” but she has “no anger towards them [the other girls].”
