Though expectant parents Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s relationship has encountered pressures in recent weeks, an insider tells WHO that “there hasn’t been any problems with production” on filming the couple’s E! reality show.
Two weeks after the 29-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star unexpectedly deleted all traces of his 28-year-old fiancé on his Instagram account after a brief tiff, the engaged couple appears to have smoothed things over.
“There have definitely been a few growing pains on the set of the show. It’s a lot of work and a big commitment,” a source close to Kardashian tells WHO. “But things are going more smoothly now.”
“There hasn’t been any problems with production,” an insider closely tied to the reality production said of filming Rob & Chyna, which will debut later this year. “It’s set up to follow the ups and downs of their lives and yes there are ups and downs, but that hasn’t affected production at all. The network is extremely happy so far.”
“Rob is great and has been filming. The (filming) schedule is not always set in stone and the crew tries to be flexible too,” a third source close to Kardashian tells WHO. “It’s great that he is back and filming. He is doing very well and keeps working out. He seems very happy with Chyna. They speak about the baby nonstop.”
News of the couple’s KUWTK spin-off, which will document their relationship, pregnancy and life together, came two months following their engagement announcement. Although the six 60-minute episodes will document the recent events, audiences might have to wait for the show’s second season to watch the couple say “I do.”
“There’s not a guarantee that there will be a second season, but the wedding won’t take place this season,” the insider closely tied to the Rob & Chynaproduction said. “So if they want to cover that, then I’m pretty sure there will be.”
