Sonny With a Chance alum Brandon Mychal Smith was arrested for driving under the influence on July 23 according to TMZ.
Smith, 28, was arrested in the early hours of the morning in Burbank, California and charged with a misdemeanour DUI.
The actor’s bail was set at US$15,000. After a short stint in in custody, Smith was released the very same day.
According to TMZ Smith’s blood alcohol level was allegedly twice the legal limit.
Smith began his acting career at 8-years-old in a small role in She’s All That, before continuing on in roles on Phil of the Future, Sonny with a Chance, and So Random! Fans will most recently recall seeing him in Dirty Grandpa alongside Zac Efron and Robert De Niro.
