Things aren’t looking up for Lamar Odom.

The former NBA star, 36, avoided a recent intervention that was planned by his family in hope he would turn himself into a rehab facility.

Now his children – Destiny, 17, and Lamar Jr., 13 – are “incredibly worried,” says a family insider. “Everyone is terrified by what could happen if Lamar doesn’t get help.”

Since his overdose and near-death experience last fall, Odom has continued apparently reckless behaviour – earlier this month he was escorted from a flight after he threw up on board. He has also stopped speaking to ex Khloé Kardashian after she tried and failed endlessly to get him well.

“Lamar has surrounded himself with enablers,” says the insider. “No one tells him no or makes decisions that are best for him. So Lamar is in complete denial. He thinks he can just keep going and treating his body like this with no consequences. He won’t listen to anybody.”

Now, everyone is just hoping things won’t go too far, says the insider. “Lamar is going down a very dangerous path. He needs help fast.”
