On his TV show, Philip Goodman (Death at a Funeral’s Nyman) reveals the fakery of so-called psychics.

Then his long-lost mentor summons him to examine three cases that seem un-debunkable, including that of a businessman (Martin Freeman) haunted by his unborn child.

Based on their play, Nyman and co-writer/co-director Jeremy Dyson’s twisty treat has a nuanced tone that’s as hard to pin down as a poltergeist, and an ending that’s just as devilish.
