Model of the moment Gigi Hadid is famous for her looks. The 1.78m Maybelline ambassador’s body has seen her land coveted roles with Guess, Victoria’s Secret and swimwear brand Seafolly.
But the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Gigi’s mother, Dutch model Yolanda Hadid, 52, has flaunted her trim and toned figure while holidaying in Tahiti.
Perhaps to take a break from the pressure of her divorce from music producer David Foster and because of health problems, Yolanda is taking a luxe break on the Pacific island, looking the spitting image of her daughter Gigi.
The Tahitian getaway is a far cry from the photo Hadid posted just five days earlier, hooked up to a drip as she receives treatment for Lyme Disease.
Strength “does not come from physical capacity,” she said in the caption, “but rather from an indomitable will to get well and never give up. . ..#wemustfindacure.”
The socialite beauty is also a regular on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and is worth an estimated $45 million thanks to a settlement from her first husband, billionaire Mohammad Hadid, and some smart real estate development including a Malibu beach house featured on the reality show that sold for close to $US20 million.
