Ginny and Georgia sure knows how to leave us wanting more — but it is finally coming back with season 3!
It’s been two years since we watched Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey) get thrown in the back of a police car — but now, after all this time, Georgia and her Ginny (Antonia Gentry) are back to resolve all our unanswered questions. It might also be the best season yet.
The synopsis had us from the get-go. “It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this. Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove — is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?”
Say less. Actually, no. Say more. We’ll leave it to the stars to tell us about Ginny & Georgia season 3.
“Georgia is definitely pushed to her limits this season, and she has to survive scenarios she’s never had to survive before,” Howey told Tudum, while Ginny & Georgia‘s creator and executive producer, Sarah Lampert confirmed it’ll be an explosive one.
“This season we blew up our world. That’s the best way to describe it,” Lampert tells Tudum said of the Miller family’s new chapter. “The characters were pushed to new places, and the actors delivered performances that shook me to my core. The fans have been so patient, I cannot wait for them to see season-three.”
As for Ginny, she and her brother Austin are just hoping the Miller family matriarch doesn’t go to prison. Gentry suggested that we’ll see Ginny really start to mature. “We see a new side of Ginny where she’s really coming into her own, and accepting her decisions and standing by them, and making hard choices, but not being riddled with guilt or shame,” she said.

What happened at the end of Ginny & Georgia season 2?
The ending of the last season of Ginny & Georgia culminated in Georgia’s arrest for killing Cynthia’s husband, Tom. Cynthia was the real estate agent Georgia befriended, whose husband was in a coma. Cynthia tells Georgia she wishes Tom would let go, and that she’s struggling with her children watching Tom die. So, Georgia decided to take a pillow and smother Tom. However, she’s seen by Austin and, eventually, we see Georgia arrested and carted away by police in the last episode of season 2.
What crime did Georgia commit?
Okay. This is a longer answer than you’d expect. Yes, Georgia killed Tom. But this isn’t the only time Georgia has killed! Georgia may have murdered two further men in the show: Kenny and Anthony.
Georgia supposedly killed Kenny by poisoning him after he assaulted Ginny. She also may have poisoned her first husband, Anthony, who was much older than she was, and also not particularly nice (to say the least!). Yes, Georgia has a few skeletons in her closet, but this season may have a few surprises in store.

We get a total of 10 episodes for the third season of our favourite mother-daughter duo drama.
Who is returning for Ginny & Georgia season 3?
Obviously, Howey and Gentry are back leading the cast with their complicated and unconventional mother-daughter relationship. Joining them is Felix Mallard’s Marcus, Sara Waisglass’s Max, Diesel La Torraca’s Austin, Scott Porter’s Mayor Paul Randolph, Jennifer Robertson’s Ellen, plus the characters Joe, Abby, Norah, Zion, and Wells.
Does Ginny & Georgia have any new cast members?
Ty Doran has scored a reoccurring role as Wolfe, a “laid-back guy in Ginny’s poetry class who doesn’t particularly like poetry”. Noah Lamanna is also a new member of the fold, and will play Tris, a super-smart skateboarder who’s friends with Marcus and Silver.
