Glee star Dot Jones recently received a scare after she was told her wife needed life-saving surgery due to suffering a stroke.
According to TMZ, on July 4 when Dot’s wife Bridgette suddenly lost feeling in her face, and fell to the floor. The distressed actress immediately called emergency services.
Paramedics quickly transported Bridgette to a hospital, which specialises in treating strokes and heart disease.
The news site reports that doctors discovered 44-year-old Bridgette has a heart defect titled patent foramen ovale, also known as a hole in the heart, which is what set the stroke off.
Bridgette has since returned, however she will have to undertake surgery in a few weeks to close the hole. Doctors expect her to make a full recovery.
The two share a daughter together.
