Together, swimwear model Natalie Roser and actor Harley Bonner make one beautiful and talented couple.
The couple are prolific across social media, sharing their lives and their love with their fans.
Recently the pair became engaged along a stunning landscape on NSW’s South Coast, with friends and fans alike taking to their shared Instagram post to congratulate them.
Here’s a look back at their five-year romance.
Harley is now best known for his work Home and Away, but he got his start on Australia’s other favourite soap, Neighbours, where he played the role of Josh Willis for three years.
His arrival as Josh was announced in 2013 as part of an overhaul on the show, which saw them introduce a renewed family focus.
Harley chose to leave Neighbours in 2016 to pursue other acting opportunities and was killed off the show. His character, Josh, died in a bid to sacrifice himself so that fellow character Daniel Robinson could live.
Harley and Natalie started dating in February of 2017, when the pair were in their mid-twenties.
Harley was still pursuing acting opportunities, splitting his time between the US and Australia.
Natalie first posted a pic of the pair in California in April that year, writing “I’ve had the most perfect day,” and tagging Harley.
Catching the travel bug, the pair seemed to spend a lot of time on holidays in the likes of Japan and the USA, before deciding to relocate to Los Angeles in 2018.
“Ready for our next chapter. Today we are relocating to Los Angeles! I’m so excited to watch this man chase his dreams while I chase mine. Could not be more excited take this journey with you, @harleympbonner ✨💛,” Natalie wrote on Instagram.
“Look out L.A., we are coming your way!”
While Harley continued to pursue acting, Natalie found modelling work in the States, and also tried her hand at business, beginning lingerie label Rose & Bare, which endeavours to match underwear to all skin tones.
The happy couple celebrated three years together in early 2020.
“Creating my real-life fairytale from the very first moment we met,” Natalie captured a black and white picture of the pair.
“Three years of more love than I ever thought possible. Forever grateful for everything that lead me to you ❤️ I love you endlessly, my Harley Bonner. #happyanniversary,” she wrote in celebration.
She also posted for Harley’s birthday just a few weeks later, in April.
“Today is Harley Bonner day. A day for celebrating the love of my life. A day for celebrating the man who will steal your babies and dogs to kiss and cuddle them, the man who will sit and have a conversation with anyone about anything, the man who makes me laugh and enjoy every moment of my life ❤️ Happy Birthday @harleympb,” she penned.
Although they seemed to enjoy life and success in LA, the pair moved back in 2020 when the pandemic hit.
Natalie was able to return to modelling work in Australia, as life went by somewhat unchanged.
“Lucky enough to be going back to work today! Feeling very thankful ❤️,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of herself from a shoot.
“It felt amazing being back at work. There’s light at the end of the tunnel. I wish we could all get to the end at the same time but seeing countries like New Zealand and Australia start to lift bans and resume some social interaction makes me hopeful for my friends back in the states. Hang in there team ❤️🌹,” she added in another post about her return to modelling.
The pair remained in Australia throughout the COVID crisis, and now seem settled here, even getting a dog together in March this year.
Their adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Pippin, naturally has his own Instagram.
Harley also made his return to the small screen this year, beginning a role on Home and Away as Logan Bennett, a doctor.
“It’s been a while since I’ve had the privilege of working on a programme that’s such a hallmark of Australian television,” Harley told 7 News.
“I’m happy to say I picked it back up a lot faster than expected. I really love working on shows like Home and Away, I love my character and I can’t wait for Australia to meet him.
He’s seen and done a lot in his life, some of which he tries his best to avoid getting into. I’m intrigued to find out what we’ll discover as time goes on,” Harley said of Logan.
“This is a brand-new playing field for Logan. Summer Bay might just prove to be the change of pace and scenery he’s been looking for, then again, fate may have other plans.”
Harley teased a potential engagement at the end of October, posting a picture of himself with his motorbike, and writing “Tough weekend to top … more to come.”
He then shared a series of photos, edited together to make a montage, of himself proposing to Natalie, captioning it “HB 💍 NR”.
In a second round of shots, he wrote, “My fiancé! Woah! Adulting hard now…”
Natalie later posted a video of the moment, adding “It’s like a dream. I’m so incredibly happy and so in love. @harleympb”.
“YAYYYY oh my heart!!!,” commented model and friend of Natalie’s, Erin Holland.
“So so sweet,” added model and fitness influencer, Steph Clare Smith.
“Awww this is so beautiful, and your ring, I love your ring 😍😍,” wrote former Bachelorette, Becky Miles.
