Hot off the heels of Dami Im’s stellar, second-placed performance at this year’s Eurovision, fans are already speculating who will fill her shoes in 2017.

Now, it seems like Brisbane-born duo, The Veronicas, might be early favourites for the task. According to The Courier Mail, fans of twins Lisa and Jess Origliasso, have launched a Facebook page in support of the campaign.

“The Veronicas are two of Australia’s most talented women,” the pages reads, “Let’s get the conversation started for them to represent Australia in Eurovision 2017!”

While the page is currently only sitting on 33 likes, there is no guarantee that Australia will even be invited back to perform in the international singing competition next year.

The ARIA Award winning singers recently released their new single In My Blood, co-written with DNA Songs founders Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci, who also worked on Im’s Eurovision hit Sound Of Silence.
