Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie celebrated their second wedding anniversary last week in a very low-key manner.
The couple, who married in a private ceremony on August 23 after 9-years together, checked in to the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles for some much needed alone time, US Weekly reports.
“It was just the two of them. They had dinner and spent the night, and that was it,” a source told Us Weekly of the pair’s short stay, adding: “They left the next day.”
The insider also revealed that Pitt, 52, and Jolie, 41, often check in to the famous hotel for a night’s stay, explaining: “They want to keep the love alive.”
The couple are parents to Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
During their 2014 nuptials, the couple’s six children, played a very important part in the ceremony, with Jolie wearing a white gown, which featured drawings from all of her children.
“It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter,” Pitt and Jolie told Hello! magazine at the time. “It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”
