As Khloé Kardashian comes to terms with the Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods cheating scandal, sources tell WHO the tight-knit Kardashian-Jenner family— including Kim Kardashian West’s husband Kanye West— are doing everything they can to help her pick up the pieces and move on.
“Kanye thinks of himself as the godfather in this family, and he has the mindset that if anyone messes with one of them, they mess with them all. So right now, Tristan and Jordyn are on his list,” an insider dishes. “If he never talks to them again, it’s fine by him. He wasn’t close to them in the first place.”
“He’s protective of the Kardashian women, all of them, and if anyone hurts them, he will always be their biggest advocate,” the source added.
Along with Kris and Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian who, according to our source, is “100 per cent on Khloe’s side” has also shown her support by unfollowing the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player on Instagram.
“Kim is the one who is really upset about this. She’s livid. She’s so angry,” the insider says. “She’s there for Khloé, letting her vent and talk about it. They’ve been in constant contact, and Kim is totally supportive. Guys may come and go, but the bond between the girls is never going away, and they’re committed to supporting each other.”
While Khloé initially slammed Kylie Jenner’s best friend for splitting up her family, she changed her tune following Woods’ explosive Red Table Talk interview with Jada Pinkett Smith— where the 21-year-old spoke candidly about the scandal, claiming Thompson kissed her on the lips after a boozy night out which ended in the early hours of the morning.
“Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time. Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family,” the KUWTK star said. “This was Tristan’s fault. I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True.
As it turns out, Kim completely agrees with Khloé’s logic.
“Kim is putting the blame squarely where it belongs, on Tristan,” the source tells WHO. “She is telling Khloé to move on and to focus on being the best mother she can be to daughter True. Kim isn’t going to talk about this much publicly. This isn’t her battle to tight in the public eye. But behind the scenes, she’s definitely making her opinion known.”
Although Kourtney Kardashian has reportedly tried to keep her nose out of the drama, our insider claims she also agrees with her sisters— the NBA basketballer is to blame for the whole debacle.
“He’s the one who made commitments to Khloé and he’s the one who broke his promises. What Jordyn did was bad, but she didn’t have the obligations and the promises that Tristan had.”
No doubt heartbroken by the betrayal, the source told WHO that the KarJenners are furious that he publically humiliated Khloe less than a year after the first cheating scandal.
“Really at issue is the fact that Tristan publicly embarrassed Khloé, and if there’s anything the Kardashians won’t tolerate, it’s being embarrassed by someone else’s bad behaviour,” the insider said.
“So the family is circling the wagons around Khloé and everyone is there for her. She’s texting and talking to them constantly, and all of them are 100 per cent there for her.”
After news broke that Thompson and Woods had hooked up, Kourtney not only unfollowed the pair on social media but also showed her support by posting a series of images with Khloé, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, captioning the racy shot, “Forever.”
Thompson was first caught cheating on Khloe— who, at the time, was heavily pregnant with their baby, True— in April last year. The aftermath was caught on camera and appeared on the season finale of the hit reality TV series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians
