How The Stars Spent Mother’s Day

Television’s night of nights might have clashed with Mother’s Day, but that didn't mean some of Australia’s most-loved stars couldn’t get spoilt by their family before they walked the red carpet at the Logies.

Rebecca Judd said husband Chris cooked her a “massive breakfast” and then dropped her to her hair and makeup appointment. “And [son] Oscar bought me something from the Mother’s Day store at school then lost it in his school bag, so I don’t know what it is!”

Comedian Julia Morris was gifted by her two daughters “a bobble head of me made of sticky tape and paper.”

While mum-of-three Chrissie Swan says her children gave her a jar of chocolate peanuts, a book on juicing and an ice-cream scoop. “Very useful,” she laughed.

Better Homes and Gardens and House Rules presenter Johanna Griggs and sons Jessie and Joe celebrated with a special dinner the night before. They cooked an entree together and then ordered take-away for the main meal.
