If the scale isnt budging for you (yet), and youre feeling frustrated by other peoples successes, dont use it as an excuse to quit! You have no idea what their journey is about Remember, losing weight is not a race.

CELEBRATE OTHERS’ SUCCESSES

By celebrating other peoples successes, you get to share in their delight youre rehearsing your own happy dance for when your time comes.

 

PEER POWER

If youre plateauing, notice who youre hanging with. Its important to spend time with like-minded friends with similar health goals. Are you hanging out with friends who are physically active and emotionally support and encourage you?

 

REWARD YOURSELF

Rewards train your mind to associate your new habits with pleasure instead of drudgery. But before you head for the fridge, make it a non-food reward! For instance, treat yourself to a music download after achieving your exercise goals for the week.

FOCUS ON THE SMALL WINS

Every long-term achievement is built on a series of small wins that add up to radical change over time. So when the scales dont move, focus on small wins like, At least my jeans are feeling looser. By doing this youll keep your momentum topped up which is your fuel for the weight loss journey.
