No matter what kind of mood you’re in – bored out of your mind or desperately in need of a pick-me-up – a classic rom-com is always a good answer.
Boy meets girl, girls meet boy, they fall in love despite all odds against them; it’s a formula that’s been tried and tested, and it makes for a very entertaining, and often light-hearted, watch.
Although, while we often come for the love stories, we find ourselves walking away with only one thing on our minds (and no it’s not how hot Matthew McConaughey is).
That is, of course, the fashion. With nostalgia for the 90s running high, rewatching classic rom-coms has us yearning to hit the town in thigh-high boots, bright mini skirts and the eyeshadow to match.
