New photos show Iggy Azalea getting ready for her big move back home to Australia after splitting with her former fiancé, Los Angeles Lakers basketballer Nick ‘Swaggy P’ Young.
Iggy’s belongings were spotted being picked up by movers outside the couple’s Los Angeles house following the June 20 announcement of their split.
Also on the move was the blue 1962 Chevrolet Impala that Azalea gave Nick for Christmas 2014. The car was towed away, but the rapper denied that was on her orders.
Azalea is preparing to relocate to Australia after announcing she will be a mentor on the upcoming season of the X Factor, filmed primarily in Sydney. The Mullumbimby-raised artist will join Guy Sebastian and Adam Lambert on the panel.
“Futures can be rewritten, and as of today mine is a blank page,” she said in a statement.
Nick Young also confirmed the split, tweeting, ‘Single,’ shortly after Azalea’s post.
He followed up the tweet with a second on June 21, saying ‘Real Funny,’ as various of their belongings were spotted outside the mansion he had shared with his former bride-to-be.
D’Angelo Russell, the Lakers team-mate whose phone video was central to the cheating claims that led to the couple’s breakup, saw the lighter side of the ensuing relationship drama, filming a commercial for Foot Locker in which he grabs a phone and throws it into the ocean.
