Hearts around Australia broke when Charlotte Crosby told her I’m A Celeb love interest, Ryan Gallagher, that she wasn’t ready to jump into another serious relationship anytime soon.

Now, it seems as though the Geordie Shore star never had feelings for him in the first place! During last night’s episode, the blonde Brit dished on her short yet sweet fling with the MAFS alum, admitting she’s since realised she confused hunger pains for romantic feelings!
Ouch.
“I think with all the excitement, I came in here, there was attraction and all of a sudden, I had like, no food in me system and I had clouded thinking,” a confused Charlotte said in a piece to camera.
“I was going light headed. I got carried away. Then I remembered what me mam told us, ‘Do not be stupid and do what you always do’.”
She continued: “You know what I’ve learned in the past? My mam is always right. I can’t just jump into another one!”
The clarification comes after Charlotte had a long conversation with her jungle campmate, Tanya Hennessy, revealing she hasn’t moved on from her ex-boyfriend, Joshua Ritchie— who she broke up with in November 2019.
“I’ve just come out of a really serious relationship. Before that one, I got in a relationship really fast from another serious relationship so I feel like, all together, I’ve been in a relationship for three years,” she told the popular Aussie comedian.
Charlotte then revealed further concerns about the status of her relationship with Ryan, telling the hunky Auusie that the way their co-stars talk about their once budding romance feels far too intense.
“Sometimes the way [the other celebs] talk about us makes us feel a little bit scared,” she told a visibly shocked Ryan.
“They actually speak like we’re in a relationship. It’s a bit scary for us because obviously, I’ve just come out of a serious relationship… where like I was literally living with another boy.”
Thankfully, Ryan was supportive of her decision to end their fling, admitting he’s happy to be friends.
“I’ll see you out, but you’re going to go back to England. We’ll still be friends,” he said.
In true Charlotte fashion, she responded: “You don’t want to have sex?”
“Nah, probably not,” Ryan quipped. “I wouldn’t do it if there was nothing coming out of it. Not with you, because we’re friends and that would ruin it.”
