Davina Rankin cheating on her Married At First Sight husband, Ryan Gallagher with another contestant was, at the time, the biggest Aussie reality scandal we’d seen to date.

And while their successors have gone on to do much worse to each other, Ryan is still reeling from the public scrutiny and humiliation she caused him.
During a recent episode of I’m A Celeb, the comedian opened up about the scandal that rocked the nation, taking an obvious dig at his former co-star when admitting he never had feelings for her.
Reflecting on the incident which took place in 2018, he said: “I just felt like an idiot because I didn’t see what was coming. I felt like a dipstick on camera.
“I didn’t feel heartbroken, I just felt like an absolute idiot. I didn’t like her and I like Charlotte (Crosby, his I’m a Celebrity love interest). There were no feelings whatsoever.”
Despite the fact the rogue incident grabbed headlines for months, Ryan says he doesn’t regret his time on the show and still believes in the sanctity of marriage!
“It hasn’t made me fear marriage or anything. If anything, it makes me want to get married properly.”
This isn’t the first time he’s taken a swipe at ex-wife— who welcomed her first child Mila-Mae two months ago. After Ryan entered the jungle and we were introduced to him, he said: “I’m Ryan Gallagher, and a few of you may know me from my terrible experience— yes, it was terrible— on MAFS. I’m up for meeting animals —giraffes, rhinos, cheetahs. I’m used to a lot of cheetahs… e.g. cheating.”
Ouch!
Just like his time on MAFS, Ryan has been an open book since starring on I’m A Celeb. Earlier this week the reality TV veteran let his guard down and opened up about his past eating disorder.
Chatting candidly to his Charlotte Crosby, the tradesman said he once had a perpetual “fear of vomiting”, which later developed into anorexia. While he shied away from discussing how he coped during that difficult period and eventually overcame the sickness, he said he’s still shocked when he looks back at old photos of his slim body.
“I used to have a fear of vomiting when I was young. And then I remember feeling sick once and I had a full-blown panic attack. For two years, because I had a fear of vomiting, I wouldn’t eat.
“And then because I wouldn’t eat, I’d feel sick. So I was anorexic for two years,” the 31-year-old told the former Geordie Shore star. “I used to wear two shirts. I have photos. I looked like a surfboard.”
