Charlotte Crosby and Ryan Gallagher have been non-stop flirting since the moment they laid eyes on each other in the South African jungle. However, according to a well-placed I’m A Celeb insider, their TV romance is all for show.

Apparently, the controversial Geordie Shore alum and her Married At First Sight love interest— who share the same talent agency, Stage Addiction— secretly hatched this plan months before filming began in an attempt to remain in the competition and make it to the finals.
“Charlotte is only recently single so timing-wise, it worked out perfectly for them to get viewers invested in their pretend love story,” the spy told New Idea. “Ryan is not her type at all but she knows the fans will love it.”
The insider added that the blonde brit and hunky Aussie— who both rose to fame after starring in two reality shows that are extremely controversial—are experts at giving the people what they want and know exactly how to remain relevant and in the public eye.
“Her whole career is based on hooking up on TV, she knows exactly how to win ratings,” the source added. “Ryan was also on Married at First Sight, so it’s obviously something he was open to.”
In spite of this, their romance continues to heat up, with Charlotte admitting during a recent episode of the hit series that she’s been crushing on him for some time now.
“I can’t believe that Ryan is here!” Charlotte gushed in a piece to camera. “So, the thing about me and Ryan is, we had never met but we have spoken on social media. I feel like we’ve had a little bit of a flirt as so it’s a little bit awkward,” she admitted.
“I’m happy to meet Charlotte,” Ryan shared with producers. “She seems like she’s a lot of fun. She’s mad but I am also mad.”
Then, during an episode last week, Charlotte finally made the first move and planted a kiss on Ryan.
“I told you about the surprise. I was going to give you a kiss!” she teased.
“I was going to kiss you by the basin!” he gushed later on that night.
