Hundreds of angry I’m A Celeb fans have taken exception to Ryan Gallagher and Charlotte Crosby’s raunchy sex romp, with many threatening to quit watching the hit series.

During last night’s red-hot episode, the Married At First Sight star and Geordie Shore alum sparked outrage when they were filmed in a steamy embrace before spooning in bed. Unsurprisingly, dozens of parents took to the show’s official Instagram page to complain, with many pointing out that their viewership includes young children.
“This is supposed to be a family-friendly show. Not a mix between Married At First Sight and Big Brother,” one angry viewer wrote in the comments section of the show’s latest Instagram post.
“Children watch this show,” another added.
“Nah, prefer no love in the jungle, it’ll turn into the sleazy Geordie shore show 🤮,” a different user quipped, referencing Charlotte’s controversial rise to fame on the British show which often shows people having sex.
Another fan said they don’t feel it’s the right “platform” to include scenes such as this one.
“Always look forward to I’m A Celebrity… but seriously considering switching off… just like to hear from some of the other celebs instead of that loud-mouthed nobody,” they began. “Sorry people but if I had wanted to watch Love Island I would have.”
The drama comes after a source close to Ryan and Charlotte— who have been non-stop flirting since the moment they laid eyes on each other in the South African jungle— claimed their romance is all for show.
Apparently, the pair, who share the same talent agency, Stage Addiction, secretly hatched this plan months before filming began in an attempt to remain in the competition and make it to the finals.
“Charlotte is only recently single so timing-wise, it worked out perfectly for them to get viewers invested in their pretend love story,” the spy told New Idea. “Ryan is not her type at all but she knows the fans will love it.”
The insider added that the blonde Brit and hunky Aussie— who both rose to fame after starring in reality shows that are extremely provocative—are experts at giving the people what they want and know exactly how to remain relevant and in the public eye.
“Her whole career is based on hooking up on TV, she knows exactly how to win ratings,” the source added. “Ryan was also on Married at First Sight, so it’s obviously something he was open to.”
