Ryan Gallagher has opened up about what life was like with MAFS’ Davina Rankin, shockingly revealing she had plans to cheat on him from the get-go.

Discussing their deeply flawed television marriage, Ryan told his I’m A Celeb campmates that after they were intimate on their disastrous honeymoon, she subtly warned him she was going to make a pass at one of their co-star. As we know, she later embarked on a secret affair with Dean Wells.
“We were on the honeymoon, and we were intimate and stuff like that. You sort of get lost in the moment,” the comedian told Miguel Maestre, Tom Williams and Charlotte Crosby, who were absolutely loving the drama!
“As we’re flying back from the honeymoon, as we were landing, she goes, ‘You know when we get back we meet other people and you can hook up with anyone’,” he said.
Unfortunately, the long-winded nightmare didn’t end there, with Ryan admitting his deceptive wife forced him to take her to meet his family during homestays.
“I had to take her to my parents’ place. I’ve only introduced four girls to my family,” he revealed. “I didn’t tell mum and dad what happened. I knew they would treat her different, so I left it. But Davina apparently had other plans. She told my mum [about the affair]. She started crying and everything.”
The hunky reality star’s jaw-dropping confession comes days after Ryan reflected on the cheating scandal that rocked the nation, revealing he never really had true romantic feelings for Davina.
“I just felt like an idiot because I didn’t see what was coming. I felt like a dipstick on camera. I didn’t feel heartbroken, I just felt like an absolute idiot.”
In spite of his less than perfect experience on the experimental dating series, Ryan says he doesn’t regret his time on the show, and (somehow) still believes in the sanctity of marriage!
“It hasn’t made me fear marriage or anything. If anything, it makes me want to get married properly.”
