While checking out the Summer Games, Brazilian supermodels Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio are staying in a pair of stunning penthouse apartments provided by Airbnb. And despite being hard at work as food and culture contributors for NBC, the Victoria’s Secret Angels have made time to enjoy their amazing beachfront abodes.

But the Games are not all about caipirinha sipping and sun bathing for the Brazil natives. Lima is quick to point out that they’re also genuinely excited about the actual sports portion of the Olympic festivities.

“Brazilians are very passionate about sports, sports run in our blood!” Lima told WHO. “We’re just so honored to have this huge event in our country. This way the whole world will have a chance to experience our culture up close.” The model, who was born in Salvador, Bahia in Brazil cried with pride as she carried the Olympic torch through the streets of Rio last Thursday. Ambrosio, who hails from Erechim, Rio Grande do Sul, took over torch duties on Friday morning.

When they’re not sipping coconuts with Ryan Seacrest, teaching Ryan Lochte to speak Portuguese or looking generally jaw-dropping at the Rio Foundation Ball, the Angels are kicking back at their enviable vacation rentals in Ipanema Beach.

Alessandra’s modernist retreat which goes for $2,230 per night, features a spectacular view over Ipanema Beach, a sauna, two living rooms and an infinity plunge pool on the terrace. The four-bedroom, four-bath, two-story residence also boasts some intriguing architecture: bedrooms and baths open onto interior glass-walled courtyards lined with stone.

“Going to miss this view of Ipanema! Thank you @airbnb for the amazing stay!” Ambrosio wrote in an Instagram caption accompanying a photo of her lounging on the pool terrace’s edge.

Adriana’s place also boasts four bedrooms and four baths as well as an iconic ocean view. Other amenities include a jacuzzi, an outdoor dining and grilling area, a steam room and a massive 75″ TV on which she can catch all the Olympic action. All this comes in for a marginally more reasonable $802 per night.

“Thank you @airbnb for putting me up in this Marvelous City…there is no better way for me to feel at home,” Lima captioned an Instagram snap that shows her perched on the apartment’s dramatic blue staircase.

Airbnb recently became the official alternative accommodation service of the Rio Olympics, with over 66,000 guests booking 38,000 rooms and entire homes for the Games. Fortunately, unlike Ambrosio and Lima’s penthouse rentals, the average price per night in the city is just $165.
