Amazing news for Australia’s Isaiah who has made it through to the grand final of Eurovision 2017!
The 17-year-old was voted through after his performance of his Eurovision song ‘Don’t Come Easy’ in Semi Final 1 in Kyiv, Ukraine over night.
“Tonight I just wanted to deliver my best performance and really connect to the lyrics of my song and make Australia proud,” Firebrace said.
“Eurovision has been a dream come true for me, and I’m so happy I get to be on the stage again for the Grand Final. I am so thankful for all the support from fans over here and everyone back home.”
The ten countries who have made it through to the Grand Final from Semi Final 1 are: Australia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Greece, Sweden, Portugal, Poland, Armenia, Cyprus and Belgium.
They will join the ten countries who will be voted through in Semi Final 2.
Semi Final 2 will air live on SBS on Friday 12 May at 5am, and replay on Saturday 13 May at 7:30pm.
The Grand Final will air live on SBS Sunday 14 May at 5am, and replay at 7:30pm that night.
