Jake Gyllenhaal has actually answered a question about ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift whilst promoting his new film, Stronger.
As Gyllenhaal was being interviewed by Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman, who the actor portrays in Stronger, Baumann brought up the singer.
“If you lost your legs in real life, do you think Taylor Swift would write a song about it?” he asked.
“For me, or about it?” the Oscar nominee responded.
“For you. Like a country song,” Bauman said.
“She sort of moved more into pop now,” Gyllenhaal replied.
The 36-year-old has stayed away from answering questions about his famous ex, once even telling a reporter: “I would love to not talk about my personal life.”
Gyllenhaal and Swift dated briefly in 2010, and it is widely speculated that her hit song ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ is about the actor.
