Jamie Lee Curtis was in Sydney last night to premiere her new Halloween movie.
As the star actress strutted along the black carpet at, we got to have a few quick words with the icon after her new film smashed box office records alongside her female lead cast in the US.
“Weirdly enough, it was written before the whole #MeToo movement, yet we were making it during it and I think the entire group felt that energy and felt the responsibility of talking about generational trauma,” Lee Curtis told Who.
Her tweet went viral, with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson showing his support.
But what we were dying to ask the Freaky Friday and My Girl alum, is what her favourite horror movie is.
“I don’t like to watch horror at all,” she revealed. “I like a good comedy – that’ll make me laugh and make me happy.”
When it came to what the star is currently watching on Netflix, JLC didn’t disappoint.
“My husband and I like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.”
Halloween will be released in cinemas on Oct. 25
