Jamie Oliver and his wife Juliette Norton (Jools) have finally revealed the name they have chosen for their fifth child, a little boy, who they gave birth to on August 8.
Jools unveiled the name with a sweet snap on Instagram, posting a photo of a colourful artwork, which read: “Dream big River.”
The post was accompanied by a rocket and blue love heart emoticon, which could be a subtle hint towards the tot’s middle names.
Jamie, 41, and Jools are already parents to daughters Poppy Honey Rose, 14, Daisy Boo Pamela, 13, Petal Blossom Rainbow, 7, and son Buddy Bear Maurice, 5.
In an interview with Gurgle Magazine, Jools explained that she chose more than one name for her children because she “couldn’t decide.”
“I’m not sure where Petal Rainbow came from – apparently it’s a My Little Pony! I wanted to call her Rainbow but Jamie told me to calm down!”
Jools continued: “With Buddy it was quite fun choosing a boy’s name, as I hadn’t done it before.
“And I hate people’s opinions on names. Whatever you call your baby is your decision.”
Jamie took to Instaram on August 8 to reveal the exciting edition to their family, writing alongside a sweet snap of the newborn: “Everyone in the Oliver family is very surprised and beyond happy.”
“He arrived safely, mum was really, really amazing, unbelievably composed, natural birth and my two eldest girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born which was amazing to witness.”
Jools also shared a picture of the bub on Instagram, saying she was “very proud” of the couple’s teenage daughters Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo who cut the umbilical cord at the end of her labour.
