Janet Jackson is officially moving back to LA to be surrounded by her loved ones after separating from her husband Wissam Al Mana.
According to ET, the the singer has headed back to Los Angeles, California, from New York City with her 6-month-old son, Eissa Al Mana.
“Los Angeles has always been home for Janet and she is enjoying having her family so close,” the source says.
“It’s especially important to her because she wants her son to have a close relationship with her mother and family. Everyone is so happy to have her back home [in L.A.]
The pop star certainly has an emotional year, having welcomed her son Eissa in January, then announcing her divorce from Al Mana in the following few months.
In April, WHO’s sister publication PEOPLE confirmed Jackson and Al Mana’s split after nearly five years of marriage.
Jackson then addressed her separation from her son’s father in a video on Twitter. “Yes, I separated from my husband, we are in court and the rest is in God’s hands,” she said.
