Jennifer Hawkins is not letting the relentless backlash get to her!

Just weeks after being unfairly mum shamed by nasty trolls, fans rejoiced last night when the stunning Australian model returned to Instagram to share a heartwarming video of her four-month-old daughter, Frankie Violet.
In the clip, the 36-year-old can be seen staring adoringly into her bub’s eyes as Frankie rested her hand on her mummy’s face. Giggling while she babbled, Jen then planted a kiss on her cheek.
“My heart!! 💞,” she captioned the post.
While the post was met with an outpouring of love, Jen made headlines in late January after she copped the wrath of overly angry mum shamers who took exception to a photo showing Miss Universe Australia winner wearing a hat while she left her daughter’s head uncovered.
Where’s the baby’s hat?” asked one of Jennifer’s followers, while another added: “Loving the photo by why does Mummy have a hat on and not Bubba?”
Jen was quick to respond to her critics, admitting “bub was under a beach umbrella two seconds after the picture was taken”. After explaining the situation, a number of fans showed their support for the 35-year-old asking people to keep their negative opinions to themselves.
“Geez! Someone had to say that! [Frankie] has an awesome mummy, as if she’s going to let her baby burn,” one kindhearted user wrote. “I’m laughing as a mum, as people just love to stir the pot.”
“Seriously. Listen, “perfect mummy”, keep your judgements to yourself, mind your own business,” a third fan commented while another added: “Mummy shaming at its very best! No wonder new mums find this time even more difficult these days with the constant commentary and criticism. Why do you feel the need to comment? Any wonder rates of postnatal depression have never been higher.”

“You know a child won’t die after two minutes in the sun and that babies need vitamin D, yeah? 🙄”
“People need to stay out of it and keep their ridiculous keyboard warrior statements to themselves… just enjoy a gorgeous pic between a mum and bub.”
Jen and her property developer partner Jake Wall revealed they were going to be parents in May and announced the arrival of their first child on October 22nd.
“Frankie Violet Hawkins Wall, dream come true! So thankful to be holding our beautiful healthy baby girl! We couldn’t be more in love,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo cuddling her little bundle of joy.
“Welcome to the world Frankie Violet. Our hearts are full,” Jake also wrote on his Instagram post.
Before welcoming their daughter, Jen opened up about suffering a miscarriage. Jen said that ‘everything crumbled’ when they discovered the baby had no heartbeat at the first scan.
“Last year was such a tough year for Jake and me. It was the toughest year of our lives. I felt like I almost broke and, in fact, it’s still really raw,” she told Stellar magazine in August 2019.
“But Jake was amazing. He let me sit with the pain, feel it and not be OK.”
“I feel so excited and so grateful just to be pregnant and feeling the kicks,” she said after confirming she was pregnant. “When we went to see the heartbeat scan for our little girl, it was the most incredible, overwhelming feeling because prior to that we were so scared.”
