Plenty of celebrities have publicly taken sides in the Taylor Swift versus Kimye feud, but Jennifer Lopez is staying neutral – despite partying with Kim Kardashian West and Swift’s ex Calvin Harris after her Las Vegas show this weekend.
Lopez celebrated her 47th birthday in the City of Sin with Hollywood’s finest, but Snapchats including Kardashian West and Harris in the same spot sparked rumors that Lopez was on Team Kimye in the divisive feud.
However, the crew was simply enjoying the party.
“She isn’t taking sides,” a Lopez source tells WHO.
Adds a source close to the Kardashians, “I’m sure J. Lo could care less [about a feud]. Kim always planned the Vegas trip because of her nightclub appearance. And J.Lo invited her to the show and birthday celebration because they’re friends.”
On Saturday night, the deejay posted a Snapchat video of himself dancing with the birthday girl. “They discussed the types of music they both love. Calvin was excited to be at the party, hanging out with Jennifer and chatting with Benny [Medina],” the source tells WHO, adding that they discussed a possible music collaboration. He didn’t ignore Kardashian West either – another source tells WHO that the pair were friendly and chatted at the party.
Jennifer and Calvin discussed a possible music collaboration during her birthday party – Calvin approached Jlo at the party about working together.
Kardashian West turned up in Vegas all weekend long, starting with an appearance at Hakkasan nightclub at the MGM Grand hotel on Friday. She danced and sang with friends, including Larsa Pippen, Carla DiBello LaLa Anthony and Maria Menounos. The same crew was there for Lopez’s show and birthday party, and Anthony posted an Instagram of the women with the caption, “Happy Birthday @jlo we had so much fun tonight!!! Concert was AMAZING!!”
Others at the birthday show included John Stamos, Christian Siriano, Iggy Azalea and other A-listers. Many continued the celebrations in Lopez’s villa at Caesar’s Palace.
Lopez’s Vegas show, Jennifer Lopez: ALL I HAVE is her first-ever headlining residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Performances continue through the summer.
