Taking to Instagram last night, Jess ignited an unexpected feud with this year’s contestant, Stacey Hampton, exposing her for the way she treated her co-star, Hayley Vernon.

In a lengthy rant just hours after Jess was spotted partying with Hayley, she called the law graduate out for “gaslighting” her close friend, claiming people deserve to know who the real villain is.

“What I see here is a girl who’s 25, gone on this show and just gaslighted the s*** out of [Hayley] who has actually worked her entire ass off to be fit, healthy and brought herself out of the darkest of places,” Jessika wrote on her Instagram story alongside two photos of Stacey.

She continued: “All to be labelled and slandered by someone who is clearly insecure that someone may bag more ‘air time’ than her. [Stacey] even wrote to me that she thought she was the new ‘me’ on the show.”

Jess later shared a series of screenshots from Hayley and Stacey’s co-stars, with three unnamed contestants concurring they weren’t a fan of Stacey.

“Babe, you always see people’s true colours eventually,” the anonymous co-star wrote after sliding into Jess’s DMs. “I’ll fight for her if I ever have to because I appreciate her so much more than I did when I first met her.”

While we’re reportedly set to see the two women fight it out on-screen, Channel Nine’s Programming Director, Hamish Turner told TV Tonight that fans of the show can expect to see “a delicate balance” between love and drama.

“There will be drama, there is no doubt and we’re not afraid of that. But the beginning of the show is definitely people looking for love and that should absolutely be the driving force behind it.”

“With the majority of the weddings, it starts with hope and the aspirational journey. As difficult as people may be, I think the majority of people enter it to find love,” he added.
