Hollywood actor Jim Carrey wants any mention of him giving his ex-girlfriend STD’s removed from court documents, calling the accusations ‘irrelevant’ against the tragic suicide of Cathriona White.
An attack has been launched against the A-lister’s ex-girlfriend’s mother Brigid Sweetman, after she brought a case against Carey detailing that he gave her daughter three STD’s and proceeded to call Cathriona White a ‘whore’ when confronted about it.
Cathriona White tragically took her own life on September 28th 2015.
But in court documents obtained by The Daily Mail, Carrey points to two of White’s suicide notes which state that ‘White left Carrey two suicide notes speaking lovingly to him, requesting his forgiveness for ending her own life, describing him, and him alone, as her “family”, and entrusting him to divide her property.’
With no mention of Sweetman in either suicide notes, Carrey is adamant his ex-girlfriend’s mother is attempting to profit from her daughter’s tragic death by taking the well-known actor to court.
However an STD test, which was submitted in evidence does reveal positive results for multiple diseases.
Belonging to a ‘Jose Lopez’, the test reveals the same DOB as Carrey, with Sweetman claiming in the case, that they are indeed the same person.
In explosive texts also tendered to court, White allegedly writes to Carrey telling him of her concern that she may have contracted STD’s, to which Carrey replies by implying she must have got it before they started their relationship.
When White tells Carrey this isn’t the case due to being tested previously, he ‘inexplicably’ ends their relationship within hours, sending her a text message ‘You have become too much drama.’
Carrey’s lawyer Marty Singer fired back at the lawsuit calling it a ‘sham’ and alleged that White and her mother had a broken relationship.
But Sweetman claims that Carrey’s attempt to create diversion in the case through ‘false accusations… shows just how low he will stoop.’
