The unlikely love triangle between former AFL star Jimmy Bartel, his current girlfriend Lauren Mand, and his estranged wife Nadia has become more convoluted.
New details about the footy player’s love interest have emerged, with an Instagram post seemingly confirming that the socialite relocated from Melbourne to London less than three months before Jimmy flew to the British capital.
“She’s leaving me…London is so lucky to have you @laurenhmand,” a friend of Lauren’s captioned the post on March 30 from what appeared to be a farewell celebration at Melbourne’s Osborne Rooftop & Bar.

While this detail may seem irrelevant, knowing that Lauren had already relocated when Jimmy visited London adds more weight to Nadia’s comments about her husband’s holiday.
“I don’t want to comment specifically on what’s been reported about Jim’s trip to the UK as I don’t think it’s in anyone’s interest,” Nadia told the Herald Sun.
Her heartwrenching statement seemingly confirms Jimmy had spent time with his rumoured love interest while travelling abroad.
Jimmy announced his split from his fashion blogger wife on August 15. The couple is believed to have separated months prior, with an insider claiming that it was “out of the blue”. On the contrary, a neighbour claimed the Bartels had rarely been seen together over the past year.

As Nadia deals with the fallout from their acrimonious breakup, Jimmy’s new girlfriend, Lauren Mand is said to be enjoying her 15 minutes of fame. According to the Herald Sun, the British-based Australian socialite has “long been referring to Jimmy as her boyfriend” and is allegedly happy news of their unexpected relationship made headlines last week. Some have even claimed the aspiring WAG has been trying to break into their social circles for years in the hope of elevating her status.
Well aware that more information about Jimmy’s new partner will no doubt come to light, the influencer— who shares sons Aston, 3, and Henley, 10-months with Jimmy— is said to be “bracing herself”.
Since they separated, Nadia has moved out of their home and into her parents’ house. Yesterday, the popular Australian star took to Instagram to share an adorable video of their 10-month-old son Henley learning to walk! In the short clip, their little bundle of joy is assisted by a wheelie toy as he slowly walks through Nadia’s parents’ house in Melbourne.
“On the go,” the mum captioned the clip of her little one dressed in pyjamas.
The heartwarming clip comes two days after Nadia posted a photo of her own father with Aston and Henley.
Taking to Instagram, the 34-year-old captioned the happy snaps: “Thanks for everything you do! Best Nonno. Our hero. Happy Father’s Day.”
