Minutes prior, we saw Cathy and Josh looking happier than ever, after a sexy dinner date.

‘It’s funny because I actually walked into this commitment ceremony quite confident and light,’ she explained. ‘We had a really good week. It just feels a bit weird.’

But she wasn’t giving up on her man. ‘I am hopeful.’

‘I don’t try to think too far into the future because I think there’s too much pressure to feel something in a certain amount of time… now there’s an ultimatum for next week,’ she said, with tears in her eyes.

Josh looked heartbroken, after being the life of MAFS this week. ‘I came here for love,’ he began. ‘At the start it was unreal and now where we are, it’s sad.’

Just like the rest of us, Cathy is still shocked. ‘I just feel a bit blindsided. I really do hope that romance can grow again.’

It was now time to show her card. ‘I wrote “stay”.’
