Premiering on the 3rd of January, we’re just a few days away from the return of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.
WATCH: First look at I’m A Celeb 2022
You know, the show that puts some of Australia’s favourite celebrities into the jungle, where they can eat bugs, face gravity-defying challenges and spend time with 10’s cheeky hosts Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown.
As we prepare to watch a new batch of celebs take on the challenge – and spend a few more days guessing which stars match up to the clues – we caught up with Julia to find out what’s in store for the new season and find out some of her favourite memories.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is back on TV soon. What can you tell us?
It will be hilarious, surprising and comforting. It might even top some of my all-time favourite moments from previous series.

What were those moments?
The day Chrissie Swan’s son Leo walked into camp [in 2015], after his mummy had been in the jungle for nearly six weeks, still makes me openly weep when I watch it.
My other all-time favourite moment was when our beloved Shane Warne was holding a massive spider [in 2016], despite his well-documented phobia. Watching him sacrifice his comfort levels for the good of the camp is seared into my memory.
If you were a campmate, would you rather jump out of a plane or eat a bug?
We’ve all ended the life of a cockroach with a classic Aussie thong floor-slap and we’ve all seen what squirts out. Throw me from a plane please.

What do you always pack when going away to film the show?
A cold gel eye mask for the long working hours and a cheeky packet of raspberry bullets that I always have standing by on-set at all times. Absolute essentials!
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! premieres at 7:30pm on Monday, January 3 at 7:30pm.
