The 21-year-old can be seen exiting a car in a white gown, at an erected wedding venue space at her beloved Australia Zoo – the wildlife sanctuary created by her late father Steve Irwin and her mum, Terri in North Queensland.

It’s believed her brother, Robert Irwin walked her down the aisle, in place of her father – and fans are celebrating.

‘Good on her!! May her dad be watching over,’ one fan tweeted, while another commented: ‘Bindi Iwrin is getting married right now because she does not want to be impacted by strict limits on numbers at weddings that become enforceable at midnight.’

The government’s new laws restrict the number of guests at a wedding to five, and all guests must be 1.5 metres apart, for the foreseeable future.

American, Chandler proposed to Bindi on her 21st birthday in 2019, after a six-year courtship.

‘She said YES! Almost 6 years ago we met at Australia Zoo,’ he shared on Instagram at the time. ‘I immediately fell head over heels for her kind and thoughtful heart that radiates so much light.

‘Proposing in her very favourite place in the zoo, surrounded by animals, seemed like the perfect way to embark on this incredible new chapter in our lives. Bee, I love you more than anything in this world and I always will. Happy Birthday.’
