Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber’s war of words has become even uglier, with both claiming the other cheated during their 4-year romance.
The “Sorry” singer accused his ex-girlfriend, who he dated fro 2011 to 2014, of cheating on him with Zayn Malik.
The pair became embroiled in a war of words on Instagram when Bieber threatened to make his account private after fans started attacking being “so mean” to his new girlfriend Sofia Richie on August 14.
Gomez, 24, called out Bieber, 22, for threatening to make his Instagram account private after fans belittled Richie, 22, with snake emojis and harsh comments.
“If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only,” Gomez wrote. “Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you.”
Bieber then responded: “It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still trying to point the finger this way. Sad. All love. I’m not one for anyone receiving hate,” before declaring “I love my Beliebers.”
The “Kill Them With Kindness” singer then commented, “Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.”
Bieber then accused Gomez of cheating on him with Malik, 23.
“I cheated… Oh I forgot about You and Zayn?” the “Love Yourself” crooner reportedly shot back at his ex.
Gomez joked about dating the former One Direction singer, who is currently in a relationship with model Gigi Hadid, earlier this year.
“If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him,” the Disney alum told InStyle UK in January. “Just kidding, but not kidding.”
Gomez’s BFF, Taylor Swift, famously dated Malik’s former bandmate Harry Styles in late 2012.
In June, Bieber started following Gomez on Instagram for the first time since they ended their on-again, off-again relationship in November 2014.
