Justin Timberlake To Receive Decade Award At Teen Choice Awards 2016

The singer will be recognized for his contribution to the music industry

Justin Timberlake has provided his fans with endless catchy tunes over the years, and now he will be awarded for his contribution to the music industry.

The singer, 35, who tasted fame as a youngster on TV’s All-New Mickey Mouse Club and then as a teen in ‘N Sync, will be awarded with the Decade Award at this year’s Teen Choice Awards, WHO confirms exclusively.

Timberlake will be recognised for his constant evolution as an artist over the past 10 years, when the award ceremony airs on July 31.

“From his musical artistry to innovative collaborations,” Fox TV’s press release states. “The singer continues to create relevant, chart-topping music, transcending generations of fans.”

Timberlake has won 22 Teen Choice Awards to date – the most by any male  – and continues to create chart-topping hits.

His latest, “t Can’t Stop The Feeling”, is nominated in three 2016 Teen Choice categories, including Choice Song from a Movie or TV Show (Trolls), Choice Party Song and Choice Summer Song.

This year also marks 10 years since Timberlake released his critically acclaimed multi-platinum album FutureSex/LoveSounds.
