Karl Stefanovic made a questionable fashion statement while interviewing music star Billy Idol on the Today show on Thursday.

Host Karl, 45, wore a garish choker-style necklace when he sat down to interview Billy, who he confessed he “used to impersonate” back in the ’80s.
Sitting across from the ‘White Wedding’ singer, Karl showed off the choker and asked: “You like?”
Billy’s reactive was a mix of surprise and being somewhat impressed.
“It’s very nice,” he replied.
Karl went on to explain: “It was the closest thing to a dog collar I could find,” which was they type of thing Billy wore in the ’80s.
Karl even admitted to Billy that he used to dress up like him.
“I used to impersonate you and go to all these parties back in the 80s, they were great times for you,” he said.
‘I can’t remember much of it at all,’ Billy confessed.
Meanwhile, after weeks of denial, Karl finally confirmed last week that he’s expecting his first child with Jasmine Yarbrough.
During an interview on The Kyle And Jackie O Show alongside Today co-host Allison Langdon, the presenter said he and his shoe designer wife are over the moon to be starting a family together. She’s thought to be 20 weeks along.
“Karl, you guys are expecting a baby, aren’t you? You and Jas?” Jackie “O” Henderson asked.
“Yeah. Very pumped! Very pumped,” an elated Karl responded.
During the same interview, Karl couldn’t wipe the smile off his face while gloating about his “glowing” wife, before admitting he’s glad the controversy surrounding their marriage and all the drama that followed has eventually subsided.
Before meeting and then marrying Jasmine in December 2018, Karl split with his ex-wife of 21 years, Cassandra Thorburn, with whom he shares three children.
“She’s going really great, she’s terrific,” he said of Jasmine.
“She’s glowing and we are happy, very happy. We are glad some of the heat had died down from the whole thing and we can finally lead a normal life as we did before.”
Jasmine, 35, showed off her burgeoning baby bump at the Australian Open on January 22.
Wearing an off-the-shoulder blue dress, Jasmine was all smiles as she watched the second-round match between Australia’s Ashleigh Barty and Slovenia’s Polona Hercog. She was joined by her husband and his daughter Ava, 14— who he shares with his ex-wife, Cassandra.
