Take a deep breathe Katy Perry fans because the singer has made a devastating announcement.
The 33-year-old has announced she is taking a break from making music, telling Footwear News she has no desire of making another album just yet.

“I’ve been on the road for like ten years, so I’m just going to chill. I’m not going straight into making another record.”
Perry, who recently completed her whirlwind Witness World Tour in Australia went on to add “I feel like I’ve done a lot. I feel like I’ve rung the bell of being a pop star very loudly, and I’m very grateful for that.”
In the lengthy interview, she also went on to address her relationship with boyfriend, Orlando Bloom.
The “Swish Swish” singer shared “He’s a great anchor in my life. For some reason, I attract people who are really real and call me out on stuff when I’m being cuckoo.”

Let’s hope Katy’s break isn’t too long but for now, we hope she gets some well-deserved time off!
