After their acrimonious split, Keira Maguire vowed to never rekindle her romance with Jarrod Woodgate.

So it comes as no surprise the Bachelor In Paradise star was furious when an “inside source” claimed she’s desperate to win him back.
Last night, the reality TV veteran— who rose to fame after appearing on The Bachelor—responded to a local publication’s claims she was “still bitter” about their breakup and deeply hurt when she saw her ex-boyfriend cuddling up to a new woman.
“What a ridiculous article,” she wrote on her Instagram story, reposting a screenshot of the online article which claimed “her ego was dented” when Jarrod moved on. “If anyone has read this, all I would like to say is that none of the above is true.”
She went on to slam rumours she was “hoping Jarrod would change his mind” and ditch his new girlfriend, Sam, admitting she wishes him nothing but the best.
“I’m content with my life and where I’m at. I only want happiness for anyone I’ve ever dated. I also have no interest in getting back with any of my exes or any interest in who they date. It’s none of my business.”
It’s no secret Keira and Jarrod ended things on bad terms. Speaking to New Idea about the leadup to their shock split, the controversial star said he dumped and then ghosted her after they had a seemingly insignificant fight during a boozy night out.
“He promised me the world, marriage and children and told me he was ready to settle down, but the reality is that wasn’t what he wanted at all, he was more interested in going to the pub with his mates,” she said.
“We broke up on a drunken night out over something silly and that was it,” Keira said. “He went back to the pub and I never heard from him again. Nothing at all and that was really hard for me. I wanted it to work. I’m a sucker for a fairytale ending which is why I went on The Bachelor in the first place.
“Having someone ghost you is probably the hardest break-up to go through. There is no last conversation which means I had no closure. Which I really struggled with,” she continued.
After coming to terms with their awful breakup, Keira agreed to star on the upcoming season of Bachelor In Paradise where she apparently found love! According to 9 Honey, she left Fiji hand in hand with Alex McKay from Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette.
Keira and Alex left the island as a couple and are reportedly still together! While they’re yet to confirm the news, if you take a little looksy at their respective social media accounts, you’ll see they uploaded similar photos in the NSW coastal town on Sunday, sparking rumours they’re still very much in love.
While at this point in time we’re unsure which other reality stars couple up, we do know this season is going to be the best yet! According to Channel 10’s programming boss, Daniel Monaghan, the upcoming season is not only filled with drama, but there are also a few success stories!
“We love the drama, but to have love at the end of it as well is really refreshing,” he said in an interview with TV Blackbox.”It’s been a stellar, stellar season of Paradise over in Fiji, we’ve got some really good cast over there. We’re really comfortable with how that’s landed and the love that’s come out of it, at the end,” he added.
