After Kylie Jenner was slammed for wearing real mink fur slippers just moments after posting about the billion animals who’ve been killed in the Australian wildfires, Khloe Kardashian has found herself in the same position as her half-sister.

Last night, one eagle-eyed Instagram follower of the KUWTK reality star reposted a picture of Khloe’s 2019 Halloween costume— in which she dressed as Cruella De Vil— accusing her of wearing real fur.

“Oh my God, 500 million animals have died!” Which is what, a few less than for your fur coats and accessories, @khloekardashian?” the user captioned the post which included a snap of Khloe in her outfit alongside an Instagram story she’d uploaded about the devastation these Aussie fires have caused.

“So sad when animals die during fire, much better when they’re anally and vaginally electrocuted and their skin is ripped off their bodies (sometimes even when their conscious!) for nothing other than your vanity!”

After the post gained some traction and she faced a barrage of criticism, the mum to True Thompson weighed in on the accusation, insisting her look was faux fur.

“I am wearing a Halloween costume. It’s not real fur. But keep spreading your vile hate instead of focusing on real issues,” Khloe commented. “Why must people assume and attack so quickly? You have some clear frustrations darling and they are completely misdirected. My advice to you would be, don’t attack people in general.

She continued: “But if you choose to waste your energy on attacking a complete stranger then at least know all of your information prior. Happy 2020.”

Yikes!

As expected, the social media sleuth wasn’t convinced and later dredged up a post shared by the designer of the ensemble which proved the outfit was, in fact, made with real mink and fox fur.

“@khloekardashian came to me with this vision i knew it will not be an easy task but i am so glad that the final product came out perfect,” the designer, Daniel Leather, captioned an Instagram shot of Koko sporting the look.

He also added the hasthags: “#shearlingcoat #shearlingjacket #sheepskinjacket #shearlingvest #furparka #foxponcho #furcollar #FoxCollar #Motojacket #KidsShearling #Fox#Mink #Sheep #kidsmoto #shearlingcoats #coatgoat #kidsleatherjacket #kingoforchardstreet #furparka #furrierofthestars #furrierofthecelebrities #celebritystylist #cashmerecoat”.

The scandal comes just hours after Khloe and her sister Kim Kardashian were forced to defend themselves when a Twitter user speculated their family hasn’t contributed a donation to Australian fire relief efforts.

Nothing gets me more heated than to see people think they know what we donated to and to think we have to publicize everything,” Kim tweeted.

Khloe also added her two cents, admitting good deeds “should be done with intention and not for attention”.

“We often bring attention to causes and ways you can donate. It’s our job to bring awareness to situations so we all can help as a human race. We Frequently post/speak about organizations/websites where we can all help save our planet.”

She continued: “Good deeds should be done with intention and not for attention. We are all blessed to be able to bless others even if it is in the slightest way. But we do not need to be boastful about that. Be boastful in regards to teaching others how they may be able to help as well.”
