Khloé Kardashian is involved in a federal lawsuit by after a photo agency accused the star of infringing their copyright, Us Weekly reports.
Xposure Photos alleges that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted a photo illegally on Instagram without crediting them and removing the copyright information, exposing it to her millions of followers for free. The company wants US $150,000 from the 32-year-old.
“Kardashian’s Instagram post made the photograph immediately available to her nearly 67 million followers and others, consumers of entertainment news — and especially news and images of Kardashian herself, as evidenced by their status as followers of Kardashian —who would otherwise be interested in viewing licensed versions of the photograph in the magazines and newspapers that are plaintiff’s customers,” the company said in a statement.
A rep for the Good American designer is yet to comment on the lawsuit.
