Caitlyn Jenner’s rocky relationship with her stepdaughter, Khloe Kardashian, has been a topic of discussion on their hit reality series for some time now.

As we know, the Good American founder remained fiercely loyal to her mother after the former athlete— who used to be known as Bruce— denigrated their marriage in a brutal expose after coming out as transgender.
While Khloe has remained coy about the state of their deteriorating relationship, Caitlyn confirmed in a recent episode of the UK version of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, that they haven’t spoken in five or six years.
“I went through every kid, and Khloé, for some reason, was pissed off about something through this whole process,” Caitlyn said, admitting their beef started when she told Khloe about her transition.
“Honestly it’s been five, six years and I really haven’t talked to her since.” She then added, “We were really close, I raised her since she was 5 years old. I really don’t know what her issues are.”
Expectedly, a source close to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has since told TMZ she felt “blindsided” and “hurt” by the I Am Cait star’s unnecessary comments and is “genuinely confused” why she’s discussing their estranged relationship without confronting her behind closed doors.
As per the TMZ insider, Khloe strongly “rejects the notion they’re still feuding” and was “completely supportive” of Caitlyn’s decision to transition. According to the well-placed insider, the mum-of-one is happy the 70-year-old is living authentically but still harbours resentment towards her for the way she treated and spoke about Kris.
While Caitlyn hinted their relationship fell apart due to the fact she no longer identified as a man, many of Khloe’s fans rushed to her defence, echoing a similar sentiment.
“The reason Khloe doesn’t talk to Caitlyn isn’t bcus she’s trans. It’s bcus caitlyn completely disregarded the Kardashians after her change, and then chat so much sh** about Kris,” one fan of True Thompson’s mum Tweeted.
“I love Caitlyn in the jungle, but the way she explained her and Khloe’s fallout was so wrong, it made it seem that Khloe won’t speak to her because she’s trans, when in fact it was about how Caitlyn treated Kris after.#ImACeleb.”
