Regardless of whether you like or hate the Kardashians, you have to commend Khloe for the incredible way she’s handled co-parenting with her cheating ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Tristan Thompson.

Less than a week after she confirmed she’d finally closed the chapter on their romance and moved on with her life, the Good American founder has decided to quarantine with the professional basketballer as the Coronavirus pandemic continues to worsen.
Although the decision sounds like a tough one to make, a source told Us Weekly it was a no brainer for Khloe, adding she’s doing everything she can to ensure their daughter leads a relatively normal life.

“Khloé doesn’t have bad or negative feelings toward Tristan at this point,” the source dished. “Being quarantined has made her have a soft spot for him, and she knows he will always be part of her life in some way because he is True’s dad. Khloé has been open and receptive toward Tristan.”
While Khloe is said to have found him living with her surprisingly easy, it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume Tristan might be getting the wrong idea. After all, he recently relocated to move closer to Khloe’s Calabasas mansion, tried to kiss her at their daughter’s birthday party, left a bunch of cute messages on her Instagram photos, and he even gifted her with a huge diamond ring.

In spite of this, insiders say Khloe’s family trust her judgement and know she will try and keep the peace and do whatever is best for their family. Speaking about co-parenting and the difficulties that inevitably come with it, Khloe revealed earlier this year that it has been a struggle.
“Oh, it’s hard. It’s not easy for me,” she said during an appearance on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast. “You know, it would be easier for me to keep my daughter away…but he never hurt True. Him and I have our own relationship and then Tristan and True have theirs, and I will never come in between that. I don’t believe in that.”

“I want to show my daughter it’s OK and it’s a beautiful thing to also forgive her dad. He’s a great person. Maybe him and I weren’t compatible in that way, but that’s OK.”
As for why she’s decided to forgive him, Khloe said: “I think we all make mistakes, we’re humans. But it’s only going to hurt me if I’m holding on to this anger and playing this victim role. I don’t believe in being a victim. I just feel like we’re all so quick to exile people, and it’s just so heavy to me.”
