On Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, it was all about Kourtney’s new diva-like behavior and interfering with Rob Kardashian’s new house, as well as her “weird” relationship with her mother’s younger boyfriend.
Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble is settling into the Kardashian lifestyle nicely, so nicely that family members think it’s a bit odd how close he is to Kourtney, 37.
When Kourtney insists she and Khloé Facetime Gamble, 35, and ask him to come out with them, Khloé gets a bit freaked out.
“I love Corey, I think he’s super nice, but I don’t ask him to hang out” Khloé, 31, tells the cameras. “Kourtney and Corey are conjoined twins.”
Later, she and Kim both wind up discussing how awkward Kourtney and Gamble’s relationship is.
“Do you find it bizarre with how close Kourtney and Corey are BFF?” Kim asks Khloé. “It’s weird.”
“Did you see the pictures they took on their hike?” Khloé asks her.
“It looked like a family photo. It was so inappropriate,” Kim responds.
“Him and Kourtney go out at night together, they are always together,” Kim tells the camera.
Later, when Kim goes to lunch with Kourtney, she confronts her sister about the relationship she has with Gamble.
“He’s fun, you just need to get to know him better,” Kourtney tells Kim, 35. “Just ask him questions … but you don’t need to be nosey.
After thinking about it, Kim sits down with Gamble to chat and picks his brain about his life.
Corey explains that he never had a house full of people and that he never had the dynamic that the Kardashians have. Kim admits to the camera that she now understands why Gamble loves being around Kourtney and the kids.
“I hear about Corey’s life and it makes me feel very lucky to have such a big family,” Kim tells the camera.
During the episode, Kourtney’s dream comes true when she gets to shot a cover for Architectural Digest. After shooting a few pictures at her house, the crew heads to Khloé’s to take a few more pictures of the family. Kourtney later bashes her sister’s sense of decorating in front of their mother which started a whole lot of drama.
Kourtney’s passion for interior decorating gets her into a massive fight with Kris and Faye Resnick (who was there to help decorate) when they all are over at Rob’s new house. Kourtney takes control and starts to make decorative decisions on her own and completely going over Kris and Resnick’s head.
First she snaps at Kris for copying her coffee cups. Then she slams the rug choice they they’ve chosen for the new house which was followed by her removing furniture that Resnick picked out. The entire time Rob just stands back and watches the ladies argue.
“Kourtney can not control the whole show. You messed up my whole thing,” Resnick tells her. “It was so exciting and now it’s boring. I’m sad.”
“For Kourtney to come in and criticize anything, it’s really embarrassing,” Kris tells the camera.
Later, Kris admits to Kim that she felt like an idiot when Kourtney came in and took control of Rob’s house.
“I think I’m going to say something, it’s not okay to be that rude,” Kris tells Kim.
“Kourtney is becoming the new diva,” Kim tells Kris.
When Kris finally confronts Kourtney about her recent behavior, Kourtney doesn’t feel like she was wrong for giving her opinion.
“Sometimes you tend to be the authority on everything decorating you were very opinionated and Faye worked so hard,” Kris tells her.
“Do you want me to come over and lie?” Kourtney asks her mom. “My opinion is very valued and many people around the world would love it. But I’m sorry if I came off insulting. ”
Meanwhile, even though Kim and Kourtney are happy with Rob getting his own house, Khloé is still deeply hurt that he hasn’t contacted her. While in the car together, Kris tells Khloé that she wants her to come see Rob’s house, but Khloé doesn’t back down. She explains that she’s hurt that her brother hasn’t picked up with the phone and reached out.
