When Kim Kardashian West debuted her ultra-tiny waistline in a custom-made Thierry Mugler “dripping wet” dress at the 2019 Met Gala, some fashion critics questioned whether the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had ribs removed to squeeze into the tiny look.
While she’s since denied plastic surgery rumours, the KKW Beauty founder, 38, has opened up about her jaw-dropping Met look, admitting she’s been in an immense amount of pain since sporting the tiny ensemble.

“I have never felt pain like that in my life,” the mum-of-four told WSJ magazine for a digital cover story.
The custom made nude corset— designed by acclaimed French couturier Mister Pearl— was so tight on her frame that when she slowly ripped it off, the makeup mogul said she was left with horribly painful indentations in her lower back.
“I’ll have to show you pictures of the aftermath when I took it off—the indentations on my back and my stomach,” said the mum-of-four.

Before agreeing to sport the overly tight look on the red carpet, the mum to North, Saint, Chicago and Pslam revealed she was forced to take special breathing lessons from the corsetmaker so she wouldn’t pass out!
“Corset breathing lessons from none other than Mr. Pearl. It was worth it all!!!” the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star said on Instagram. “And this was the start of a magical inspiring connection. Stay tuned for more.”

“Okay, so Anna, if I don’t sit down for dinner, now you know why. I’ll be walking around mingling, talking, but I canno tsit,” Kanye West’s wife said in the video, addressing Vogue‘s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. “I can only like, half sit.”
