Kim Kardashian made it abundantly clear in the past that she had no time for Khloe Kardashian’s cheating ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.

Not only has she shaded him on television and made throat-slashing motions behind his back but the queen of insults famously booed him at a basketball game in January 2020.
So, it definitely comes as a surprise to learn that the KKW Beauty founder has finally thawed her hatred for Tristan.
In a new teaser trailer for the upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim proved she was capable of rising above the drama when she told Khloe that she’d invited the basketball player to dinner after they ran into each other in New York City.
“I was leaving the Mercer Hotel and then I get a call on my cellphone from Tristan. And he was like, ‘Oh my god! I’m right next door,'” Kim told Khloe during a FaceTime conversation.
“And he’s like, ‘What are you doing?’ And I was like, ‘I’m gonna go have dinner with my friends.’ So, I was like, ‘Do you wanna come?'”
Taken aback and clearly surprised by Kim’s sudden change of heart, Khloe responded: “You invited him to dinner?”
After Kim realised the awkwardness of the situation, she asked Khloe whether she was making the wrong decision. However, the mum to True Thompson was surprisingly supportive— considering what he’s done in the past.
“I think you’ve got to do what’s best for you…that’s beyond generous of you. If you want him to have a drink at the end, there’s nothing wrong with that,” the Good American founder said diplomatically. “That’s beyond generous of you.”
After Kim was spotted leaving the restaurant with Tristan last year, a clued-up Kardashian source said she’s been trying to build a relationship with Tristan for Khloe and their daughter’s sake.
“Kim actually likes Tristan and has been saying she likes hanging out with him, he is a cool guy,” the source dished.
“Kim has been open about hating Tristan for what he did to Khloe, but she has definitely been nicer about him lately,” the source said.
