TikTok users have put forth a bizarre theory following the debut episode of The Kardashians season two, suggesting Kim Kardashians’ tearful scenes were fake.
TikTok user @michelledriscool seemingly started the strange rumour in a now-deleted post, replaying a scene where a tearful Kim Kardashian speaks about Khloe and Tristan.
“Y’all please tell me you see this CGI tear on The Kardashians?” she asks in the video.
“She doesn’t touch it! That’s a fake tear!”
While the emotional confessional seemed genuine, fans have jumped at the belief the crying was manufactured, largely in part due to the Kardashians’ long history with editing their photos.
Although many fans believed the viral clip – a number of others have discredited the rumour.
TikTok user @denadobena explained in the comments that her husband – who works in visual effects believed the tear to be real, whilst others pointed out that Kim crying is not unusual.
The season premiere of The Kardashians aired last week and picked up where season one left off – focusing on Khloé and the imminent arrival of her second child via surrogate.

She reinforced the crazy timing of the drama during a sweet conversation between with her sister, Kylie.
Khloé explained that she and Tristan had chosen to go ahead with the embryo transfer “just days” before Tristan’s cheating scandal was made public.
“We did an embryo transfer days before thanksgiving” explained Khloé, “and I found out about Tristan’s situation the first week of December.”
Khloé was also quick to shut down any rumours that she knew about the affair, asking “why would I want to have a baby with someone who is having a baby with someone else? I’m not a psychopath.”
The episode was full of emotional moments as the Kardashian-Jenner Family supported Khloe – and it wasn’t just Kim who was teary, with mum Kris breaking down multiple times.
